Hegins, PA – Injuries Reported in Multi-Car Crash on I-81 SB/Exit 112
Hegins, PA (November 24, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 81 southbound left several people injured on Monday, November 24, about 2.8 miles north of Exit 112 to PA-25. The collision occurred shortly after 9 a.m. and involved multiple passenger vehicles traveling through the area. Pennsylvania State Police arrived quickly and coordinated with local fire and EMS units to assist the injured.
Several individuals suffered moderate injuries, with at least one person evaluated on-site and others transported to a nearby medical facility for further care. Troopers documented vehicle positions, debris patterns, and roadway conditions to determine what triggered the chain-reaction crash. Traffic delays stretched for more than an hour as authorities worked to clear damaged vehicles and make the roadway safe for drivers.
Officials have not yet released the names of those involved, but they confirmed that all injuries appear to be non-life-threatening.
