Cumberland Co., PA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-81 near Rest Area Exit

Cumberland County, PA (November 23, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash was reported early Friday morning, November 21, on Interstate 81 near the Rest Area exit in Cumberland County.

According to 511PA, emergency crews responded to the scene around 5:40 a.m. The collision involved several vehicles on the northbound side of I-81 close to the Rest Area. Officials briefly restricted traffic to one lane while responders assisted motorists and cleared the roadway. The lane restriction has since been lifted.
