Rockbridge Co., VA – Multi-Vehicle Crash Blocks Lanes on I-81 Near Natural Brdg

Rockbridge County, VA (September 27, 2025) – A multi-vehicle collision blocked both northbound lanes of Interstate 81 near mile marker 181 in the Natural Bridge area late Thursday night.

The crash took place on September 25, around 10:21 p.m. Emergency responders quickly arrived on scene, and wreckers were dispatched to clear the damaged vehicles. Authorities warned drivers to expect significant delays and advised them to avoid the area while the roadway was being cleared.
