Greene Twp, PA – Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-81 SB

Greene Township, PA (July 28, 2025) – A multi-vehicle accident on the southbound lanes of Interstate 81 left several individuals injured on Monday, July 28, just half a mile north of the rest area truck weigh station in Franklin County. The Pennsylvania State Police responded to the scene around midday after reports of a serious crash involving multiple passenger vehicles and a commercial truck. Emergency crews provided on-site medical assistance to those with non-life-threatening injuries, while others were transported to local hospitals for further evaluation and treatment. The number and severity of injuries have not yet been officially confirmed by authorities. Troopers initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
