Dupont, PA – Multi-Vehicle Collision Injures Motorists on I-81 S/Exit 175B

Dupont, PA (October 16, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash caused injuries on I-81 on Thursday, October 16. The collision happened about two-tenths of a mile north of Exit 175B, which leads to PA 315 North and the Dupont area. Pennsylvania State Police reported that several vehicles traveling in the same direction collided after a chain reaction in mid-morning traffic.

Troopers and local EMS units responded quickly, assessing the scene and providing on-site care to the injured. One individual was reportedly transported to a nearby hospital for additional treatment, while others were evaluated at the scene. Authorities temporarily closed one lane to allow wreckers to remove the damaged vehicles and to clear scattered debris from the roadway.
