Dauphin Co., PA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-81 NB Leaves Several Injured

Dauphin County, PA (September 21, 2025) – A serious multi-vehicle collision with injuries was reported on Interstate 81 northbound in Dauphin County on Sunday, September 21. According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the crash occurred just north of Exit 77, the Manada Hill/Hershey exit, shortly after 9:00 a.m.

Multiple vehicles were involved, leading to heavy traffic congestion in the northbound lanes. First responders provided immediate aid at the scene, and at least two victims were transported to nearby hospitals for additional medical evaluation. Authorities confirmed that several others sustained minor injuries and were treated on-site.

The crash caused significant lane closures while crews cleared wreckage and debris from the highway. The roadway was reopened after several hours. Troopers are investigating the factors leading to the collision.
