Wilkes-Barre, PA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-81 N/Exit 170B Leaves Injuries
Wilkes-Barre, PA (September 7, 2025) – Several people were injured on Sunday, September 7, following a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 81 northbound, about 2.2 miles north of Exit 170B (PA 309 North – Wilkes-Barre). According to the Pennsylvania State Police, multiple vehicles collided in the northbound lanes, causing significant traffic disruption in the area. Emergency responders rushed to the scene, where injured victims received immediate medical attention.
At least one person was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment, while others were evaluated at the scene.
