Wilkes-Barre, PA – Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-81/Exit 165A

Wilkes-Barre, PA (June 11, 2025) – According to state traffic authorities, a multi-vehicle collision with injuries occurred on the afternoon of June 11th along I-81 northbound near Exit 165A for PA-309 South toward Mountain Top. Pennsylvania State Police from the Wilkes-Barre barracks arrived at the scene to assist in traffic management and launch a formal investigation into the cause of the incident. Paramedics provided immediate aid to the injured parties. Two individuals were transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries, while others were evaluated at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved.
