Washington Co., MD – Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-81 Claims Woman’s Life

Washington County, MD (September 25, 2025) – A deadly crash occurred Thursday morning, September 25, on Interstate 81 in Washington County, leaving one woman dead and two others injured. According to Maryland State Police, the major collision involved three vehicles, including two tractor-trailers and a passenger vehicle. The wreck took place along the northbound lanes, scattering debris, barrels, and wood across the roadway. Tragically, a 36-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
