Syracuse, NY – Injuries Reported in Crash on I-81 SB Off-Ramp to S Salina St

Syracuse, NY (August 29, 2024) – A multi-vehicle collision occurred on the I-81 Southbound off-ramp to South Salina Street/Brighton Avenue (Exit 17) in Syracuse on August 29th, resulting in injuries. Syracuse Police Department officers responded to the scene where several vehicles were involved in a collision during the early morning hours. The crash led to an immediate emergency unit response. First responders worked to provide medical aid to the injured. Paramedics treated some individuals at the scene, while others were transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Syracuse Police Department.
