Swatara Twp, PA – Three-Truck Crash on I-81 Leaves Several Hurt

Swatara Township, PA (June 10, 2025) – A serious crash involving three tractor-trailers took place in the early hours of Monday, June 10, on southbound I-81 in Lebanon County. The collision happened around 2:36 a.m. near Swatara Township, prompting a swift response from the Pennsylvania State Police and emergency crews. Upon arrival, troopers found three commercial trucks that had collided, resulting in extensive damage to all vehicles involved and debris scattered across the roadway. Though the accident looked severe, dispatchers confirmed that only non-life-threatening injuries were reported. Several occupants of the trucks were treated on-site by medics, while at least one person was transported to a nearby medical facility for further evaluation. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. No citations have been issued at this time.
