Sullivan Co., TN – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-81 Near I-26 Leaves Injuries

Sullivan County, TN (March 30, 2025) – Multiple emergency units responded to a serious multi-vehicle crash on the night of March 29 along Interstate 81 near the Interstate 26 interchange at mile marker 56.8 in Sullivan County. The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reported that the accident occurred around 9:55 p.m., prompting an immediate response from the Tennessee Highway Patrol and Sullivan County EMS. Upon arrival, first responders assisted injured occupants and transported the injured individuals to a local hospital for further medical evaluation.
