Scranton, PA – Injuries in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-81 at Airport Exit
Scranton, PA (May 31, 2025) – On May 30, several people were injured following a multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 81 northbound, just 0.4 miles north of Exit 178 near the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport. According to Pennsylvania State Police, the crash occurred around 8:15 a.m. Paramedics assessed multiple victims on-site, with two individuals requiring transport to a local medical center for additional treatment. Their conditions remain stable at this time, though further details have not yet been released.
