Schuylkill Co., PA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-81 N/Exit 119 Leaves Injuries

Schuylkill County, PA (July 25, 2025) – A multi-vehicle accident that resulted in multiple injuries occurred on July 25 along Interstate 81 northbound, 2.2 miles north of Exit 119 at Highridge Park Road. According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the crash involved several passenger vehicles during the late morning hours, causing major disruptions to northbound traffic. The circumstances that led to the crash are still under investigation, but slippery road conditions may have been a contributing factor.

First responders from the local fire and EMS departments arrived quickly and began assessing the injured. At least two individuals were transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment, while others were evaluated at the scene. The Pennsylvania State Police are leading the investigation to determine whether speed or driver error contributed to the incident.
