Rockingham Co., VA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-81/MM 254.3 Leaves Injuries

Rockingham County, VA (March 23, 2025) – A serious multi-vehicle crash on northbound Interstate 81 left multiple people injured early Sunday morning, March 23. The crash occurred near mile marker 254.3, three miles north of the US-11 Exit 251. Virginia State Police responded to the scene and confirmed that multiple vehicles were involved in the collision. Several individuals sustained injuries, though the severity of their conditions has not been disclosed.

Emergency medical personnel provided treatment on-site before transporting the victims to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
