Rockbridge Co., VA – Injury Crash Reported on I-81 N/Exit 205

Rockbridge County, VA (November 9, 2025) – On November 9, multiple injuries were reported following a crash on northbound Interstate 81 near mile marker 204, approximately 0.9 miles south of the VA-606 Exit 205. Virginia State Police confirmed that several vehicles were involved in the late-morning collision, which caused major traffic delays along the corridor.

First responders arrived promptly to provide medical aid, with at least one injured person taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Others received an on-site assessment before being released. The northbound lanes remained partially blocked for over an hour as crews cleared the wreckage and investigated the cause of the crash.
