Progress, PA – Multi-Truck Crash on I-81 Near Progress Ave. Causes Injuries

Progress, PA (March 11, 2025) – A collision on Interstate 81 South in Dauphin County resulted in injuries on Tuesday evening, March 11. The accident took place near Progress Avenue in Susquehanna Township, shortly after 6 p.m. Dauphin County dispatchers confirmed that several commercial trucks were involved in the crash.

Emergency responders, including local law enforcement and medical personnel, arrived promptly to assist the victims. Fortunately, injuries sustained in the crash were reported as non-life-threatening. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) reported that the two left lanes were blocked as crews worked to clear the wreckage and assess the scene. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
