Nanticoke, PA – Several Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-81 SB/Exit 164

Nanticoke, PA (May 27, 2025) – A serious multi-vehicle crash on May 27 left several individuals injured on the southbound side of Interstate 81, 0.7 miles north of Exit 164: PA 29 – Nanticoke. According to reports from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, the crash occurred during mid-morning hours and involved multiple vehicles. The Pennsylvania State Police responded to the scene and immediately began assisting those involved in the crash. Emergency responders assessed multiple victims at the site.

The injured parties were transported to a local hospital for medical attention. Investigators remained on-site for several hours, examining vehicle positions and gathering witness statements to determine the cause of the accident. The Pennsylvania State Police have not yet released the identities of those involved, but continue to investigate the crash.
