North East, PA (May 2, 2025) – Several individuals sustained injuries following a multi-vehicle collision on northbound Interstate 81 on Thursday, May 2, 0.9 miles north of Exit 182 near Montage Mountain Road and Davis Street. Pennsylvania State Police were dispatched to the scene shortly after the crash was reported. Initial findings indicate that four vehicles were involved in the collision, which brought traffic to a halt during the early evening commute. Several lanes were blocked, leading to extended delays for drivers navigating through the area.

Emergency medical teams responded promptly and assessed the victims at the scene. Several individuals were transported to nearby Geisinger Community Medical Center for further evaluation.
