Middlesex, PA – Several Injured in NB I-81 Multi-Vehicle Crash Near Exit 52B

Middlesex, PA (June 23, 2025) – Multiple people were injured in a crash involving several vehicles on northbound Interstate 81, 0.9 miles north of Exit 52B, near the junction with U.S. Route 11 and the I-76 Turnpike on June 23. The Pennsylvania State Police responded to the scene shortly after 9:00 a.m. following reports of a serious collision affecting multiple lanes of traffic. At least three vehicles were confirmed to have been involved in the incident. Emergency responders provided on-site aid to several individuals who suffered moderate injuries.

The injured were later transported to local hospitals for further evaluation and treatment. Fortunately, no life-threatening injuries or fatalities were reported. The responding crews worked to remove the damaged vehicles and clean up debris. Authorities remained on-site for over two hours conducting a detailed investigation. Officials have not yet confirmed the cause of the crash. Investigations are ongoing.
