McAdoo, PA – Injury Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-81 S Near Exit 138

McAdoo, PA (June 4, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash with reported injuries occurred on June 4th along the southbound lanes of I-81, one mile north of Exit 138 for PA-309 near McAdoo and Tamaqua. According to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), multiple vehicles collided in a congested stretch of the highway during mid-morning hours, resulting in several people sustaining injuries.

The crash scene quickly drew a response from local police and emergency medical services. State troopers from the Pennsylvania State Police Hazleton Barracks were on site to assist with traffic management and initiate a formal investigation.
