Harrisburg, PA – Multiple Injuries Reported in Crash on I-81 Near Exit 10

Harrisburg, PA (May 19, 2025) – A serious multi-vehicle collision occurred on northbound Interstate 81 on Monday, May 19, roughly 2.5 miles north of Exit 10 (PA 914 Marion), resulting in multiple injuries. According to the Pennsylvania State Police, several vehicles were involved in the crash, which happened during mid-morning hours as traffic was building up in the area. While the exact cause remains under investigation, witnesses reported that one of the vehicles may have lost control, triggering a chain-reaction collision involving three or more cars.

First responders from Franklin County, along with troopers from the state police, arrived quickly to assess the scene and provide aid. Two individuals sustained injuries requiring transportation to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Several others were evaluated and treated on-site. The Pennsylvania State Police continue to investigate the incident and are working to determine if weather, speed, or driver error played a role.
