Harrisburg, PA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-81 N/ Exit 29 Leaves One Injured
Harrisburg, PA (July 30, 2025) – Injuries were reported in a crash involving several vehicles late Tuesday night, July 30, on I-81 northbound, approximately 3.4 miles north of Exit 29 for PA 174 – King Street. Several cars were traveling northbound when an initial rear-end collision set off a chain reaction involving multiple autos.
Emergency responders, including medics and officers from Pennsylvania State Police, arrived promptly to assess the scene. One individual sustained injuries, though none were reported to be life-threatening. The victim was evaluated and assisted on-site.
Traffic on the northbound side of I-81 was heavily impacted, with lane closures causing delays for several hours as crews worked to investigate the crash and clear the debris. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
