Harrisburg, PA – Injuries in Multi-Vehicle Wreck on I-81 NB/Exit 47

Harrisburg, PA (June 28, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash led to reported injuries on the morning of June 28 on Interstate 81 northbound near Exit 47 for PA 34 – Hanover Street. The crash, which occurred shortly after rush hour, involved multiple passenger vehicles. According to Pennsylvania State Police, the vehicles collided in the northbound lanes, prompting emergency response teams to arrive quickly at the scene to assist. Several occupants sustained injuries, though the full extent has not yet been disclosed.

At least two individuals were transported to nearby medical centers for further evaluation and treatment, while others were assessed and treated on-site.
