Greene Twp, PA – Two Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-81 Near Exit 20

Greene Township, PA (March 25, 2025) – A crash on Interstate 81 in Franklin County left two people injured on Monday afternoon, March 24. According to the Franklin Fire Company, the accident occurred in the southbound lanes near Exit 20 at Route 997/Scotland at approximately 1 p.m. Emergency responders, including fire crews and paramedics, arrived quickly to assist the victims. Authorities reported that one driver was trapped inside their vehicle and had to be extricated by rescue teams. Both injured individuals were transported to a nearby hospital for further medical treatment. The extent of their injuries has not yet been disclosed. Officials continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
