Greencastle, PA – One Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on I-81/Zarger Rd overpass
Greencastle, PA (December 16, 2024) – Tragedy struck on Sunday morning, December 16, when a two-vehicle collision on I-81 near the Zarger Road overpass claimed the life of 21-year-old Dru Feeley of Hagerstown, Maryland, around 3:30 a.m. on December 16. Pennsylvania State Police revealed that Feeley was driving a 2005 Dodge Neon at high speed in the northbound left lane when his vehicle collided with a tractor-trailer merging from the right lane. The truck driver had moved over to avoid a disabled vehicle on the shoulder. The impact caused Feeley’s vehicle to spin out of control, ejecting him from the car. Investigators determined he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Sadly, Feeley was pronounced dead at the scene. The tractor-trailer driver was uninjured. The crash remains under investigation by Pennsylvania State Police, who are urging witnesses or drivers with dash cam footage to come forward.
Our condolences go out to Feeley’s family and friends during this difficult time.
