Dauphin County, PA – Injuries Reported in Accident on I-81 NB near Rt-39 and Rt 743

Dauphin County, PA (June 29, 2023) – An accident occurred in the northbound lanes of I-81 between the exits for Rt-39/Manada Hill/Hershey/Exit 77 and Rt 743/Hershey/Grantville/Exit 80, resulting in injuries and slow traffic in the area.

However, police and emergency medical services (EMS) promptly arrived at the scene to attend to the injured victims. The injured individuals were subsequently transferred to a nearby hospital for necessary medical treatment. Details regarding the extent and identity of the injured individuals have not been disclosed at this time.

As a result of the accident, the right lane of the highway was blocked, contributing to the traffic congestion in the vicinity before the lane was reopened later.
