Cumberland County, PA – Crash on I-81 between Ex 37 and Ex 44 Leaves Injuries

Cumberland County, PA ( November 10, 2023) – A serious multi-vehicle crash occurred on I-81 involving three tractor-trailers and two passenger vehicles on November 10th. The incident resulted in injuries to the individuals involved.

Emergency responders, including the Pennsylvania State Police and local emergency units, swiftly reacted to the scene. The injured individuals were transported to nearby hospitals for medical attention.

The northbound lanes of I-81 were temporarily closed for approximately an hour and a half, spanning between Exit 37 (PA 233 – Newville) and Exit 44 (PA 465 – Plainfield) on Friday afternoon.
