Cicero, NY – Injury Crash on I-81 SB at Exit 29 Near Rte 481 

 Cicero, NY (May 23, 2025) – A collision involving multiple vehicles caused injuries along the southbound lanes of Interstate 81 near Exit 29, close to Route 481, on the morning of May 22. The New York State Police reported that the crash involved at least two vehicles. The accident led to lane closures and extended delays as first responders worked to secure the area.

Emergency medical teams responded promptly. One individual with non-life-threatening injuries was transported to the hospital for further assessment, while others were treated at the scene by paramedics. Cicero Police assisted in diverting traffic while NY State Police conducted a preliminary investigation. Investigations are ongoing, and anyone with additional information is urged to contact the New York State Police.
