Carlisle, PA – Three Tractor-Trailers Collide on I-81, Injuring One and Causing Gas Tank Explosion

Carlisle, PA (July 19, 2023) – A serious accident occurred yesterday, July 18th, on I-81, involving multiple vehicles, including three tractor-trailers.

The collision resulted in one of the truck’s gas tanks exploding, creating a hazardous situation at the scene and a section getting damaged by the intense fire.

Emergency responders quickly arrived to assess the situation. One person was critically injured and had to be airlifted to the nearest hospital. As of now, the individual’s condition remains unknown, and investigations into the accident are ongoing.
