Carlisle, PA – Multi-Vehicle Crash with Injuries on I-81 NB Near Exit 47

Carlisle, PA (June 27, 2025) – A multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 81 northbound near Exit 47 (PA 34 – Hanover Street) left several people injured during the early hours of June 27. The Pennsylvania State Police responded quickly to the scene to assist the victims and coordinate traffic control. The crash occurred in heavy-moving traffic, causing significant slowdowns in the northbound lanes as crews worked to aid those involved. Several individuals sustained injuries in the incident, with at least two people requiring transportation to a local medical facility for further evaluation and treatment. On-site responders provided first aid to others who sustained minor injuries.

Troopers are still investigating the circumstances that led to the crash.
