Botetourt County, VA – Three-Vehicle Crash on I-81 near MM 155 Leaves Injuries

Botetourt County, VA (November 16, 2023) – Emergency crews responded to a vehicular incident on the morning of November 16th, at the northbound lanes of I-81 near the 155th-mile marker. Wagon 2, Squad 2, and Ambulance 2 were dispatched to the scene, which involved three vehicles with confirmed entrapment. The incident occurred just before 6:30 a.m., leading to the closure of northbound I-81. Although the collision resulted in non-life-threatening injuries, thankfully, no fatalities were reported. First responders diligently worked to extricate individuals from the vehicles involved.
