Berkeley Co., WV – Multiple Injured in I-81N Crash Near MM 19.5

Berkeley County, WV (April 5, 2025) – Several people sustained injuries following a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 81 North in Berkeley County on Saturday, April 5. According to the West Virginia State Police, the collision occurred near mile marker 19.5 during the afternoon hours. Initial reports indicate that at least two vehicles were involved in the accident, which caused a temporary shutdown of the northbound lanes as emergency personnel responded. First responders arrived quickly and provided on-site aid to those injured. While the exact number of individuals hurt and the severity of injuries have not been publicly confirmed, several victims were transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
