Berkeley County, WV (May 25, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash on the northbound lanes of I-81 at Mile Marker 16 resulted in injuries on May 25. 
West Virginia State Police responded to the scene shortly after the incident occurred, working alongside local emergency medical services to assess and assist those involved. Two vehicles were confirmed to be part of the collision, although the exact number of occupants and their identities have not yet been released. Injured parties received treatment on-site, while one party was transported to a nearby hospital for further medical evaluation. The extent of their injuries remains undisclosed at this time. Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the crash.
