Augusta Co., VA – Injuries Reported in Crash on I-81 NB Near Exit 213

Augusta County, VA (April 12, 2025) – A crash involving injuries was reported in the early hours of Friday, April 12, along the northbound lanes of Interstate 81 at mile marker 209.0, 4.1 miles south of the US-11 Exit 213 in Augusta County. According to the Virginia State Police, the accident occurred around 2:08 a.m. and involved multiple vehicles. Emergency crews and medical personnel were dispatched quickly to the scene. Several individuals who sustained injuries in the crash were transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and treatment, while others received on-site medical attention. Fortunately, none of the injuries have been reported as life-threatening at this time. The Virginia State Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the accident.
